More Zines – Street Photography

I’ve been making more zines. Again, they’re hand made and pretty rough looking.

I dug out some old photos I took a couple of years ago. They’re all from the streets of Southampton and Winchester, taken on an old rangefinder and a Zenit-E. I decided not to really edit the first that much (bar tearing and ripping photocopies here and there). I was quite happy with how the photos worked on their own so I left it without any text, as a sort of visual essay.

The next one was shorter and I decided to play around with it. I did two edits. The first with type (although this isn’t my strong point).

The next edit was by hand. I didn’t really know what to do but I was bored of messing around with Photoshop an InDesign so I just took some masking tape, markers and fine liners to it.

I’m not that happy with the last one though overall they were satisfying to do. I have other ideas that I’m moving onto now.
