An artist’s statement

The following is an artist’s statement I wrote for someone. It is not for me. It was a bit of a joke but it ended up being both really awesome and stupidly confusing. I should make a career out of it. Or not.

Considering the human condition throughout the constant, torturous tedium of consciously subjecting herself to the temporal dimension of unbearable experience, the artist (of tangible, material works and the intangible architectural structure which houses the conditions necessary for existential contemplation) proceeds to secure the notions which, transcending cultural and societal constraints, are a ubiquitous feature of modernity in a form akin to the precious point of genesis which connects humanity. Marrying the deliberate and spontaneous in juxtaposition as a reflection of the very nature of being alive, the artist acts as mother to creations that attack the senses with ferocity appropriate of the evolution which is presupposed by the presence of calamitous afflictions to which the artist concerns herself.
