The Eve of the Election.

So here we sit, a nation on the cusp of a new era. Despite the Conservatives’ appropriation of the buzzword “change” one can’t help but feel that whatever the outcome of this general election it will be the advent of change. I feel sure that 2010 will bring the start of a change in our political landscape. Will that change be for the better or worse? We can only wait and see. It is an exciting and perhaps frightening time we find ourselves in. As much as we can look through history in an attempt to foreshadow how things will pan out, to quote David Cameron “we cannot predict the future”.  As a young  first time voter I am excited, if slightly nervous about how the next five years or more will unfold. For now we can only hope that as we watch the results come in it unravels in the way we want. I’ll see you on the other side.

Excuse the rushed post, should have done it earlier. I’m busy watching Channel 4’s Alternative Election now. So back off.
